BREAKING THE CUT. THE FILM. LA CAMPAGNA DI AUTOFINANZIAMENTO SU INDIEGOGO

Our INDIEGOGO Campaign has started. 

To raise awareness on Female Genital Mutilation on a global scale, we aim to self produce this Film Documentary which will tell the stories of the victims of FGM through continents. There 's no a specific target to reach but certainly we aim to reach the youth creating a tool through which they can confront, dialogue, reflect on this very important theme and together unite and share awareness for a possible sustainable change of this practice which is a threat to Human Rights.

La nostra campagna INDIEGOGO è cominciata

Per promuovere i diritti umani contro le Mutilazioni Genitali Femminili su scala globale, abbiamo come obiettivo quello di produrre un Film che racconti le storie delle vittime bypassandole attraverso i vari linguaggi dell'arte. Non c'è un destinatario specifico per questo film, tuttavia intendiamo rivolgerci soprattutto ai ragazzi creando uno strumento di dialogo, riflessione, confronto su questa importante tematica che è presente nel nostro quotidiano e cercare insieme di pensare a un cambiamento sostenibile. 

ARTISTI CONTRO LE MGF - ARTISTS AGAINST FGM

ARTISTI CONTRO LE MGF è una staffetta di artisti che scelgono di contribuire alla realizzazione del Film Documentario BREAKING THE CUT. Ogni artista, singolo o gruppo, dona una sua serata per il sostegno del Documentario che intende promuovere i  DIRITTI UMANI  e sensibilizzare l'opinione pubblica, attraverso un percorso formativo-didattico-artistico.

ARTIST AGAINST FGM is an initiative that involves different kind of artists who decide to "donate" one of their performance to the realization of the Film-Documentary BREAKING THE CUT, which aims to promote HUMAN RIGHTS and sensitize on Female Genital Mutilation through an educational and artistical path.

Breaking The Cut - Project

Breaking The Cut Project is  the Film-Documentary we are aiming to produce  means that is possible to make a change and reach that day when FGM will be totally banned and never practiced anymore.
Today 140 milions of women worldwide risk to undergo FGM, 500,000 women in Europe have already undergone FGM and 35,000 just in Italy. Every year in Europe 180,000 women may undergo FGM and 3000 just in Italy. These numbers are really important because they mean that even though the UN, the EU and the singles nationals tates  have their own laws condemning FGM, this brutal practice is still going on.

2013

This is the new site of Associazione Soggetto Nomade, an intercultural association operating in Europe and Africa. It has been long time but  the Association hasn't stopped operating in different levels. It's true there was a break due to different logistic reasons but we are back with two important projects. One "Building Libraries" has never ened since the very first time we started sponsoring sustainable libraries, the other one is a new project called Breaking The Cut.
We are a small association and we don't pretend to sponsor too many activities at the same time, so better focus on few at a time with the aim to reach the goal soon and in an efficient way.
